Before Your Appointment
One to two days before your scheduled installation, our team at Sunset Heating & Cooling will contact you to confirm the time of arrival. Preparation on your part is minimal, but accessibility is key. For example, if you're opting for a Reverse Osmosis system, which will be installed under your kitchen sink, please clear out any items underneath and ensure there's ample space around the sink for our technicians to work efficiently.
For a whole house water filtration system, which is typically installed near your main water line, it's ideal if this area is in your garage. We ask that you move your car out and clear a path to the main water line. Additionally, prepare a space for the system to be set up to facilitate a smooth installation.
During Your Appointment
The installation process generally takes between three to five hours, depending on your home's plumbing specifics. Although this is an average estimate, the exact duration can vary. Please note that your water supply will be shut off for about an hour during installation. We will notify you in advance so you can make any necessary preparations.
After the Appointment
