David Vernon, Owner/President, grew up in the Midwest with all of those Midwestern values where a handshake meant more than a contract. Graduated from Kansas State University and spent a number of years in the corporate world in positions such as: Controller, Acquisition Manager, Retail Analyst and other business management positions. Then, in the mid 1990’s, David ventured into his entrepreneurial dreams. For David, it was part of that great American dream – owning your own home and owning your own business. Besides owning Sunset Heating & Cooling, David is also partners with his wife and brother-in-law owning Oregon’s largest and most respected window tinting company, Pacific Window Tinting. |

Corey Rife, General Manager, joined Sunset Heating & Cooling in 2007. Corey received his degree in Applied Science and is multi-faceted in all aspects of HVAC. In fact, Corey has over 15 years of HVAC industry experience. He holds licenses in installation, service and sales. Corey is very friendly, easy to talk to, and excels at customer service. Dustin Loftin, Sales, graduated in 1998 in the top percentile of his class, with a degree in Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Dustin spent many years in the field as a service technician, followed by management and then a full time switch to sales.
